The jury consisting of film critic <strong>Andrej Gustin\u010di\u010d<\/strong>, Croatian film director and screenwriter <strong>Juraj Leroti\u0107<\/strong>, and film scholar <strong>Natalija Majsova<\/strong> will award prizes for feature films. Meanwhile, the awards for short fiction, documentary, experimental, animated, and student films will be presented by a jury comprising intermedia artist <strong>Sara Bezov\u0161ek<\/strong>, film director and screenwriter <strong>Slavko Hren<\/strong>, and Serbian cinematographer, animator, and film director <strong>Nikola Majdak<\/strong>. The Audience Award is decided directly by viewers casting their votes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">In addition to the two official festival juries, films of the 28th FSF Portoro\u017e will be judged and awarded by two independent juries. The FIPRESCI Association of Slovenian Film Critics, represented by <strong>Tina Bernik<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Vanja Gaji\u0107<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Darko \u0160trajn<\/strong>, will select their favourite among the feature films in the Official Competition. A prize for best feature will also be presented by the Slovenian Art Cinema Association: on its behalf, <strong>Bla\u017e Cotman<\/strong> (Mestni kino Dom\u017eale), <strong>Armand Meterc<\/strong> (Javni zavod KRC Hrastnik), and<strong> Erik Toth<\/strong> (Art kino Odeon Izola) will give out the award that supports the screening and promotion of the award-winning feature film in 28 cinemas across Slovenia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Read more about this year&#8217;s jurors <a href=\"https:\/\/fsf.si\/2025\/en\/jury\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two official festival juries decide the Vesna awards for the films in the Official Competition.
